Kristian Overgaard Hehlert has been working with potatoes for the past 15 years. There is no doubt in his mind that the JST high-tip potato bucket is the best one he has used so far.
Kristian Overgaard Hehlert has been a fieldsman at Hos Verner Skov Them for the past five years. When they recently needed a new potato bucket, they had no doubt that they wanted a JST GG high-tip potato bucket.
On the farm, they have a good collaboration with a local dealer of JST attachments, AP Auto og Maskinværksted, who actually helped develop the JST potato bucket. So, when they needed a new potato bucket, and it turned out that the JST high-tip potato bucket was both reasonably priced and affordable, as Kristian says, it wasn’t a difficult choice.
“Overall, there aren’t many things to be critical of… It just works”

According to Kristian, who runs the farm’s Case 721F loader with the new potato bucket, the spacing between the bars works really well and the bucket is good for sorting out soil. “If there’s a little bit of rot in the potatoes, it’s actually really good at cleaning it out,” he says.
“Overall, there aren’t many things to be critical of… It just works,” says a satisfied Kristian.
Work lights are a big plus
At the same time, Kristian is very pleased that the JST high-tip potato bucket came with work lights as an optional extra directly from the factory. “We know that we have to load potatoes after dark. To get the best out of the cutting edges and to get the best possible loading, we chose to install two LED lights on the bucket,” he says.
I’ve never driven with a potato bucket that was better than this one

“I’ve never driven with a potato bucket that was better than this one. We’re delighted with it,” says Kristian, who has been working with potatoes for the last 10-15 years.
The potato bucket they use at Verner Skov Them is 285 cm wide and holds 4500 litres. However, the potato bucket comes in several different sizes and variants.
