Extra brackets on grading bucket increases efficiency at contractor

“It’s the best bucket I’ve ever had!” says Alexander from AKJ contractors about the JST grading bucket with triple brackets that the company purchased back in November 2023.

Alexander Aadgaard Kofod-Jensen is the owner of AKJ in Ringsted. When he looks back on the last ten years, he can’t quite understand why he didn’t buy a grading bucket earlier. “You can do everything with it. We almost never use the big loading bucket anymore. We are very happy with that,” says Alexander. He is very satisfied with the grading bucket with multiple brackets, which has improved the small contractor company’s work processes and increased efficiency.

“And with the extra ears we’ve got on it, we can grade the edges of gravel roads without damaging the mirrors. We are very satisfied with that.”

AKJ is a small contractor company and agricultural contractor. Among other things, the company offers grading, establishment, and maintenance of gravel roads. For this purpose, the new grading bucket with multiple brackets is perfect. Now the operator can choose to mount the bucket so that it extends further to one side or the other. This way, he can grade the edges of gravel roads and reach the very edge of the road without damaging the side mirrors.

Since AKJ performs both contractor and agricultural contracting work, the grading bucket is used for many different tasks. “It’s the best bucket I’ve ever had,” says Alexander enthusiastically.

Good dialogue about changes to the grading bucket

AKJ became a customer of JST eight years ago because the machinery dealers spoke highly of JST. And Alexander still has the first JST bucket he invested in back then. He states, that there has never been any problems with the bucket, so when he was in the market for extra buckets and attachments, it was an easy choice.

And he wasn’t disappointed. JST was very accommodating to AKJ’s requests for changes to the attachments, and JST’s technical designers were easy to work with. “They weren’t afraid to make some adjustments and to try something new,” says a satisfied Alexander. He has been very pleased with the process and highlights, that the dialogue with JST has been very good throughout the project.
